SVP Maloney officers

Brother Rudolph Boneo, the newly elected National SVP President made a visit to the St Vincent de Paul Society Maloney Conference on Monday, October 15.

The event was the installation of officers for the period 2007-2010.

The officers are as follows:
Angela Gonzales – President
Helen Francis – Vice President
Marilyn Nicholas – Secretary
Carol Lumen – Assistant Secretary
Odette Valentine – Treasurer
Merle Bishop & Gemma Forde – Trustees

Thirteen members of the conference were present. Brother Boneo gave words of encouragement saying that he considered the trustees as the “soul” of the organisation.

President Angela Gonzales thanked him for his commitment and promised the Incarnation SVP Maloney Conference would continue to reach out to the needy in the community, they hope to form a youth arm in the future. Parish Priest Fr George Lewis nodded his approval.

After the closing prayer, the group sang If I can help somebody followed by a sharing of light refreshments.
